Polyester Chips
In Polyester Oriented Yarn (POY) plant there a process to wash polyester chips. Hot water used for washing and the temperature inside the chips washing process tank is max 250 °C. Level Control for this process tanks are very important to avoid over flow and maintain the chips level inside the process tank.
Level sensing in POY application poses following challenges:
- High Temperature up 250 °C
- Solid Chips level detection under hot water
- Precise Switching under boiling water
Trumen Vibrating Fork Point Level Sensor "LSV" model with high temperature sensor serve this application. As shown in application diagram our LSV sensor sense only solid polyester chips not water or foam inside the process tank.
